Whoever would have thought that at this time we would still be wearing masks and social distancing rather than enjoying monthly breakfasts together, hugs and rallies? Did you get all those projects done around the house that have been put off? Yea, me neither. Do you need a haircut and for some of you, the grey roots covered? Yea, me too. Our members haven't escaped this nasty virus. Several have tested positive with no major illness and several ended up hospitalized.(hope you are feeling better) Continue to be safe and stay strong. At least the vaccines are rolling out slow but sure.
For now, we will continue to meet online with Happy Hour calls and Monthly Meetings. We have some "Optional Campouts" scheduled for those who are able to get out. Dare I say by summer we will feel safe meeting face to face again? We can only hope because dang, I miss seeing you all !
January didn't seem like January without a big gathering at Greasewood in Quartzsite. Really missed the campfires, pot lucks, pizza and shopping for things I didn't really need anyway.
