Chapter Dues and Registration Form

The 2013 Chapter 25 annual dues can now be submitted. The $10 fee goes directly to the chapter treasury. Dues should be submitted by the end of March 2013 to remain active on the Shanty Shaker Roster.

For those of you who attended the Shanty Shakers Christmas Party on December 4th, Garth and Judy would like to say thank you for coming, and for all of your help. Everyone said they enjoyed the good food, and entertainment. The most important thing is to have an opportunity to share a good time with such wonderful friends at this Holiday Season. Bless all of you and have a very Merry Christmas!

Fall Activities, Gazette, Nov Meeting Minutes

Chapter 25 stayed very busy this fall with fun activities.

SEPTEMBER: Clark and Betty Paxton hosted 30 Shanty Shakers and 3 guests at the Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos. They enjoyed a yummy Italian lunch along with lots of visiting, story telling, and sharing of travel stories.  

OCTOBER: Nineteen rigs joined in the fun for a rally at the Lake Skinner Recreation area. Thanks to Doris and Ed Kalenda for hosting the shindig and a job well done.  Many went to the swap meet at Jojoba Hills Escapee RV Resort in Aguanga and found some bargain treasures.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres were enjoyed at happy hour one night and on the final evening a pot luck with a variety of delicious food was savored by everyone. It was nice to have Mary Wilson attend the rally and she enjoyed being with her RVing friends again.

NOVEMBER: Thirty three members journeyed to Yuma to view the Balloon Festival. The weather was good and the launch field was in walking distance of the campsite. Hosts Pete & Nancy Thompson organized happy hours and a few meals at local establishments. They did a wonderful job and we thank them!!

No grass growing under the feet of the Shakers that’s for sure. Thank you to all who hosted a rally in 2012. You made it a great year and we look forward to more fun times in 2013.
