Ten rigs and a guest couple gathered at Pechanga RV Resort in beautiful Temecula for our annual auction to benefit CARE in Livingston, Texas. Escapees CARE Center is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1992. Its mission is to provide a safe haven with professional assistance at affordable prices for members whose travels are permanently ended because of age or temporarily interrupted because of health problems.
A small group enjoyed a morning of golf at the beautiful Red Hawk Golf Course.
The main event during this Rally is the Potluck and Auction. Members bring a wrapped gift and then it is put up for bids. The highest bidder gets the gift and the money is donated to CARE. It's always fun to try and guess what the gift might be. Some decide based on how it's wrapped or the size, some ask how heavy it is, or if it smells like anything.😜
It's always fun to see what the gifts are once they are opened. Mike P with coffee cups and Diane N with wine seemed so appropriate. BUT, Victor with a purse not so much 😀

Wednesday the group went to Richie's Diner in Temecula. Who knew you could enjoy a chocolate shake with breakfast ?
Of course, there were many members who visited the casino either to eat in one of the myriad of restaurants or to try their luck on a slot machine.

The group enjoyed morning coffee, afternoon Happy Hours, and the fire pit in the evenings. We raised just under $1000 to donate to CARE. Most of all we enjoyed the relaxation in nice weather and camaraderie with our RVing friends !
